If your pet is in an acute potentially life threatening situation (this can include severe trauma, difficulty breathing, collapse, continuous seizing, and uncontrollable bleeding), please consider taking your pet to the nearest veterinary emergency facility. Please call us at (916) 332-4444 if you are concerned but uncertain if your pet’s condition requires an emergency facility.

At Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital we are committed to providing you and your pets the best care possible. While we are a full service general practice we are not staffed continuously and urgent after hours conditions may require a visit to an emergency facility. During practice hours some conditions may be optimally served at a 24 hour emergency/referral center providing continuous monitoring and specialized care of critical patients.
